For 36 years, Shari Mogk-Edwards held one of the most influential roles in the global drinks industry. As Vice President of Product, Sales and Merchandising at the LCBO, the world’s largest single buyer of alcohol, she explored wine regions across six continents, tasted thousands of labels, and partnered with the world’s most celebrated producers.

Her team managed $5.5 billion in annual sales, curating everything from everyday bottles to rare collectibles. By working with legendary winemakers and emerging distillers alike, she helped shape the drinking culture across Ontario and much of Canada.

Shari also became a familiar face in Canadian media through regular TV and radio appearances, contributions to Food & Drink Magazine, and keynote speeches. She has judged international wine competitions from Bordeaux to Napa Valley, earning a reputation for a sharp palate and a straight-talking style.
